What brought you to the Outer Banks? My family has been traveling from Missouri to the Outer Banks for summer vacations since I was 5 years old. My aunt and uncle have a beach house in Duck, and we have stayed in the same seaside neighborhood for the past 31 years. When I finished college in Virginia, I decided to move to the Outer Banks to escape the rush of living in the metro D.C. area. I have been here for 12 years.
